Namjoon lowered his head to my throbbing core and started licking up the mix of our juices and sucked on my aching clit, making me come undo ne in seconds . I grabbed him by his hair to pull him up but he kept sucking, licking and fingering me. The sight of him eating me out just after he had come inside me made my orgasm so intense I saw stars , legs shaking uncontrollably as I panted heavily. Namjoon lapped up all my juices and his cum as if he was cleaning me up while eating me out and before I could protest or push him away, he used his fingers again and made me cum a second time. As I came down from my second climax, Namjoon stopped and licked his fingers clean, making me moan at the sight. The dirty smirk playing on his lips made me chuckle. “God, you’re so naughty, Joonie.” I reached out for his hands and pulled him up to meet my lips.

I could taste us on his tongue. “You’re naughtier, princess.” Namjoon smiled into the kiss. He rolled over so that I was now laying on top of him as he carefully strok ed my hair, making me hum in pleasure. My hand drew circles on his chest, drawing goosebumps in seconds. We stayed like that , gently touch ing each other for some time before I finally decided to take a shower.

While I got ready to leave for Busan, I di dn’t realize that Namjoon had already showered . I was sitting on the edge of the bed, drying my hair with a towel and look ing out of the window at the beautiful beach. Namjoon walked closer to me and at first I thought he was taking a seat next to me, but I should have known that he was always ready with a surprise. He lowered himself onto one knee in front of me, his gaze slowly meeting mine. One of his hands reached out to mine and he gently squeezed it before the other wandered into the pocket of his shirt, revealing the expensive wedding ring he had bought for me. My eyes widened, a small smile playing on my lips.

“I know, we’re already married on paper and you already said yes to me, but I never asked you properly.” Namjoon cleared his throat before he continued. “I promise I’ll take care of you and love you and try my best to be the man you deserve. I still need to learn a lot about love, but I want to learn it with you by my side. You’re my best friend, my lover, my partner in crime and also my home, I’m sorry it took me a while to realize that. Will you give me the honor of being my wife, for real this time?”

I felt tears pooling in the corner of my eyes and I was about t o explode out of happiness, so I just nodded eagerly at him, a breathy “Yes” escaping me as I pulled him up for a kiss . Namjoon cupped my cheek in his large hand and rested his forehead against mine. His other hand put the ring back on my finger before I laced my fingers with his.

“So, partner in crime, you want a real wedding with all the pomposity Chinhae’s had?” Namjoon hoped I’d say yes because now he was sure that I was meant for him and he was meant for me, so everybody had to know this, too. And what better way than to throw the most magnificent wedding of the year.

“How about we top that one, Joonie?” I nudged him with my nose against his cheek, making him grin like a Cheshire cat.

  Chapter 7

  3 months later

“My god, Valentina you are making me nervous too and I’m not even the one getting married.” Chinhae playfully rolled his eyes at me. “And besides that, it’s not like you aren’t married already .”

Chinhae gulped down his second mimosa before he helped me with my wedding dress. He was already stressed because besides being Namjoon’s best friend and best man, he also was my best friend and had his duties to fulfill. I ’d gotten very close to Nari in the last few weeks, who helped me all the time with the wedding plan s . But right now, half an hour before the ceremony, I needed my best friend by my side.

After all, he was right ; I was already married to Namjoon on paper, this was just the official wedding at the altar where tons of guests would be watching my every move. That was why I was freaking out, because all the to p dogs in Korea were here and the ir focus was going to be solely on Namjoon and I.

“Yah, I know Chinhae. It’s just… everyone is here. Last time I did that, it was just Namjoon and me and it wasn’t really ceremonial, just a quick stamp on a piece of paper and that was it.” I played with the new bracelet Namjoon had gifted me a few days ago to calm my nerves.

Chinhae was fighting with the zipper of my white dress, but it didn’t show any sign of giving in . B efore we could process what was happening, the zipper broke. I looked at Chinhae in the mirror with wide eyes, the younger male visibly shocked.

“Valentina, I swear, I didn’t break it.” He threw his hands over his mouth, still not breaking eye contact with me. I, however, was on the edge of breaking down, tears starting to well up in the corner of my eyes. “No, no, no. Please don’t cry now, Val. We’ll fix this somehow, just let me get Nari…”

I sat down on the chesterfield sofa with a defeated huff, trying to hold back the tears that tried to break out . To say that the last few weeks had been stressful was an understatement. Namjoon and I were busy planning the wedding and even though we had people who had arranged everything, the tight schedule we had for meetings, photoshoots and test dinners had been exhausting . And now the final day, whe n everything should’ve been perfect, my dress decides to go on strike.

A soft knock pulled me out of my thoughts, and I expected Nari to come in but instead of her or Chinhae, my handsome husband walked in. “Aish, Namjoon, you shouldn’t see me before the ceremony , ” I scolded him, making him chuckle.

“It’s not like you’re going to wear that dress anyway, princess. Hey, it’s okay, we’ll fix this somehow.” He squatted down in front of me, caressing the back of my hands with his thumbs. “How about you just wear the white jumpsuit you had bought in the first place? You said it yourself years ago , you hate wedding dresses and maybe the broken zipper is just a sign from the universe that you shouldn’t wear something you don’t really want to.” He gave me a dimpled smile.

Hearing his voice, feeling his touch and seeing him calmed me down immediately. Namjoon was right though; I hated wedding dresses even if my dress was a pretty custom piece from Oscar de la Renta, it just wasn’t me. “Are you really dragging the universe into this now, Joonie?” I giggled at Namjoon’s words . H e caressed my cheek before he placed a soft peck on my nose.

“Yup, the universe is responsible for everything.” He got up to his feet and held his hand out for me which I gladly accepted. “Now let me help you out of this chiffon monster of a dress and then I’ll get you that Brandon Maxwell jumpsuit, okay?” He gently turned me around so that I was now facing the mirror again, Namjoon right behind me.

“Shouldn’t you get that jumpsuit first?” I whispered as his hands started caressing my curves before he leaned down and placed a soft kiss on my neck. I gasped at the feeling of having his lips on my skin, and he chuckled darkly.

“That jumpsuit can wait. I need you now, babygirl.” He pressed his already hard cock against my ass, a soft moan escaping my lips. With quick movement he ripped the dress off my body, leaving me in nothing but the pearl white lingerie I had bought , originally meant for his eyes tonight, not now.

“Joonie, we can’t have sex now! We don’t even have 30 minutes left until the ceremony starts,” I hissed through my teeth and tried to get out of his hold, but Namjoon’s strong arms kept me in place. He continued leaving a trail of kisses from my neck to my shoulder.

“Then we better be quick, hm?” I heard him unzip his pants before he positioned me back onto the small chesterfield sofa, my ass sticking out. Before I could protest that this was one of the worst ideas he ’d ever had, one of his fingers slid over my pussy, making me moan loudly. “What was that ‘we can’t have sex now? ’ Arch your back a little more for me, babygirl.” I did exactly what he wanted.

Without warning, Namjoon pushed inside me until he bottomed out. I could feel his balls against my clenching pussy, a breathy moan coming out of the both of us. One of his hands held me in place by my hip, the other wander ing to my clit. “I need you to stay quiet for me. Can you do this for me, princess?”
He started pounding into me relentlessly , making it hard for me not to scream at the top of my lungs as he hit the right spot with every thrust.

I felt my climax building up and Namjoon sensed I was close so he started rubbing quicker circles on my clit. My hands were gripping the edge of the sofa, my knuckles turning white. Namjoon leaned down so that his lips were next to my ear.

“Come all over this cock for me, princess.” The low tone took me over the edge, my orgasm ma king me whimper and shake uncontrollably. If Namjoon hadn’t held me in place, I probably would’ve collapsed onto the sofa and my hair would have been ruined. But he didn’t let go of me, chasing his own high. It didn’t take him long since I was still clenching my walls around his cock as the aftershoc ks of my orgasm racked my body . Namjoon spilled his seed into me, a loud groan coming out of him. We were both out of breath and the room was silent save for our heavy panting.

“Valentina, I finally have the jumpsuit for you, you can… argggghhhhhh oh my G od, my eyes!” The high-pitched yell coming from Chinhae made our heads shoot up like deers caught in headlights. Chinhae used one hand to cover his eyes, his nose scrunched up and lips curled into a disgusted grin. “Yah, why are you two like this?” Chinhae ’s whine made Namjoon and I crack up. He quickly walked into the room, still covering his eyes, and hung the jumpsuit onto the room-divider before he rushed out, still whining that he had walked in on us having sex again.

Namjoon had to sit down on the floor because he was laughing so hard and I needed some time to stop giggling before I pulled up my panties. “God, I think he is starting to regret having us as best friends.” Namjoon shook his head while chuckling. “Come on, let’s get you ready for our official wedding, princess.” He quickly grabbed some tissues to clean me up before he got the jumpsuit from the hanger and helped me get dressed.

“Chinhae-ah, you can come in now,” Namjoon yelled in an amused tone. I smiled at him as he kissed the back of my hand. “See you on the other side, princess.” With that, my handsome husband left the room and Chinhae came back in with Nari as backup. She stared at Namjoon with wide eyes before she fixed her gaze on me, still visibly shocked and mouthed “ Oh my G od ” at me. I just shrugged with a smirk playing on my lips.

Chinhae called the stylists in and they quickly fixed my hair and makeup before adding the jewelry. The last item I wore was my filigrane open toe silver heels. When I turned to take a look at myself in the mirror, I smiled.

Chinhae stood next to me, smiling proudly. “That’s way better. Now come on, let’s get out of here before your beast between the sheets of a husband storms in again .” He hus tl ed the stylists out of the room and quickly followed them because he needed to take his place as best man .

I walked out of the hotel onto the private beach, the pavilion where Namjoon was waiting for me covered in palm leaves and white orchids . T he guests turned t heir heads towards me in seconds. At the end of the aisle stood Namjoon, handsome in his navy-blue suit. I held my bridal bouquet tightly as I walked towards him , who had tears in his eyes as he look ed at me.

“You look so beautiful, Valentina,” he whispered as I took my place opposite him. My eyes wander ed through the mass of guests and I began feeling anxious, Namjoon gently squeez ing my hands.

“Focus on me, princess. Look into my eyes, ignore the others. It’s just you and me.” He smiled at me fondly and I took a deep breath before locking eyes with him . He looked so gorgeous in his suit and the white shirt , his light brown hair pushed back, and his honeyed skin glow ing in the warm sunlight. I didn’t even really listen to the wedding speaker - I was so focused on my husband and his handsomeness that I almost forgot where I was.

“Now it’s time for the wedding vows.” The wedding speaker looked at Namjoon, but he nodded at me, as he knew how nervous I would be if he went first. After all, the two of us had broken every tradition today, so who care d if he should’ve gone first?

“When I met you and we became friends, I never would’ve imagined that we would make it this far. From hitting your head with a shovel in the sandpit to becoming best friends to falling in love with you…” Namjoon chuckled as I mentioned the sandpit incident, the first time the two of us met when we were just kids and he wanted to use my sand mold without permission . “I’m glad we became best friends first, because I had the chance to get to know the real Namjoon without any restrictions that love can bring. I know you and you know me, and we don’t judge each other for anything and that’s why I love you so much, Joonie. I promise I will love you when the sun shines, but also when it rains. You’re my homie, my best friend, my lover and my soulmate and I wouldn’t want to change anything about that.”

With every word coming from me, I could see Namjoon trying his best not to become a crying mess . Chinhae was sniffling and tried to cover it with a cough.

“Wow, how can I top that now, Val ? You raised the bar pretty high.” Namjoon let out a choked laugh, making everyone else laugh and sniffle, too, before he locked eyes with me again. “I can’t even put into words how much I love you. You always looked out for me and never judged me, even when I was a complete idiot. You’re everything a man can dream of - smart, beautiful and such a badass. Today I say, ‘I do’ but to me that means, ‘I will.’ I will take your hand and stand by your side through the good and the bad. I will dedicate myself to your happiness, success, and smile. I will love you until the end of time.”

I smiled brightly at Namjoon. The wedding speaker gestured to Nari and Chinhae to get ready to pass the rings.

“Kim Namjoon, will you take Kim Valentina to be your partner for life? Will you love her, protect her and cherish her forever?”

“I do.” Namjoon didn’t break eye contact.

“And will you, Kim Valentina, take Kim Namjoon to be your partner for life? Will you love him, protect him and cherish him forever?”

“I do.” The wedding speaker signaled to Nari and Chinhae that it was time for the exchanging of rings.

“It is now time for you to exchange rings. Your rings symbolize the eternal commitment that you make to each other, and the never-ending circle of your love. May you be forever be reminded of this moment and the joy that fills the air for the rest of your lives. ..”

Namjoon carefully slid the expensive ring I had worn all those weeks on my ring finger, and I did the same, finally putting a matching minimalistic ring on his finger .

“By the power vested in me, I pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride.” Within seconds Namjoon’s lips were on mine. I melted into the kiss and would have about the guests if they had n’t been cheering so loudly.

“It is with great honor and delight that I present to you , Mr. and Mrs. Kim,” the wedding speaker added when we broke the kiss. Namjoon looked deep into my eyes and I felt his smile against my lips before I shyly hid my face in his chest, making him chuckle. Chinhae and Nari came over and hugged us, something that was unusual for a wedding.

“Come on, throw the bridal bouquet, Val.” Nari encouraged me to face the crowd of young unmarried women who waited eagerly for me to throw the flowers. I turned around and threw it over my head, hearing a loud squeal from the female who caught it. It had landed in Jung Soobin’s hands and despite the fact that she should have been the one standing where I was , next to Namjoon as his wife, she seemed more than happy to have caught my bridal bouquet. Who knows, maybe she already had another Chaebol heir in her prospects, or it just got her hopes up that she won’t be completely lost with Namjoon officially out of the market. I didn’t care though, all I cared about was that I had finally made things official with Namjoon - again - and that my best friend Chinhae and his wife Nari were next to us.

Nari and Chinhae asked the guests to head to the gardens, where dinner was served later and they started to wander off, giving Namjoon and I a moment to process what had happened. He wrapped his arms around me from behind before he moved my hair to the side and started peppering kisses
along my neck. “So, now we’re married twice, wifey. How do you feel?” I giggled in his hold and titled my head to the side to take a better look.

“Awesome, Joonie. And you?” He hummed in content as a response. I could stay like that forever, Namjoon’s arms wrapped around me and the soft wind waving through my hair, hearing the waves in the background next to his heartbeat, inhaling his scent mixed with the warm ocean breeze. It couldn’t have been more perfect.

The afternoon was going well, and we were soon approaching the time where everyone wanted a toast. Namjoon’s college friends and some of our past acquaintances from school spoke and gushed over our relationship ; even Namjoon’s father only had nice things to say about the two of us. My mother decided to remain quiet and kept her distance from Namjoon and I, but I didn’t mind. Her presence was tolerated because she was my mother, but besides that I had nothing left to say to her.

It was getting dark outside, and people had a couple of drinks, food was being served and everyone enjoyed the entertainment . It was also about time for our best friend Chinhae ’s long-awaited toast. Namjoon and I both expected the worst, as Chinhae tended to detail the most embarrassing moments in our lives, but he held back as he clinked the glass to gain everybody’s attention.

“You must know, Namjoon-ah and Valentina-ah are the best friends anyone could wish for. We ’ve known each other since we were kids, and I remember v e ry vividly the story Valentina told before, how she fought Namjoon on the playground because he hadn’t asked for her permission to use her sand molds. The funniest part of the story is something only Namjoon-ah and I know. Because when she hit him with her shovel, that 5-year-old dude ran back to me, trying to hold back his tears before he grinned widely at me and said ‘Chinhae-ah I’m in love. ’ ” The whole room laughed heartily, and I couldn’t hold back the giggling sounds escaping my lips.
